                 Hola Dance In collaboration with Djembé Defi Organizes 

 

Dance & percussion workshop From 12 - 24 February 2024 in Togo 

 

Program: 

A theoretical and practical workshop of African dance, Afro Fit/ Afro urban , and traditional Togolese instruments in Lomé and Kpalimé. 

Shows and animations will be proposed by local dance artists, and a show will be put on by the trainees at the end of the stay.

The course will take place in Lomé by the sea and Kpalimé in the mountains.

Different excursions will be offered (eg. waterfall in Kpalimé, artisanal/fetish market in Lomé) as well as traditional evenings. During your stay you will enjoy the traditional local cuisine.

 

Teachers:

Sylvestre Akakpo :      Afro-contemporary 

Komi Hola :                 Afro-urban       

Koko Lawson :            Afro drum Percussion 

 

Workshop:

4 hours of African Dance/Afro-Urban and percussion classes per day:

3 hours of dance in the morning.

1 hour of percussion in the afternoon. Classes are open to all levels 

 

Price:

2 weeks for 800 € (12-24/2) a deposit of 400€

1 week for 500 € (12-17/2 or 19-24/2) a deposit of 250€

The packages include:

Accommodation, course, transfer to the accommodation and group travel 

2 meals per day ( lunch and dinner ).

 

Packages do not include:

Drinks, other meals, personal travel, private visits 

airline tickets, Visa, and personal insurance.

Registrations will be effective upon payment of a deposit  no later than 15 January 2024. After this date, in case of cancellation, the deposit will be reimbursed at  50%.

The remaining cost of the stay, according to the chosen formula.
